The irrepressible Queen Bonnie and Her Naughty Surprises!

That rascal, her "Overly Familiar" (Cat Puppet - Scottish you know..)

 was his usual mischievous self around the Dollmaker...

 

Of course Queen Bonnie and the Dollmaker take this same picture every year!

 

 

Actually though,

Queen Bonnie was not able to participate as an Entertainer this season

due to a recent hip replacement!

Never Fear!

The Dollmaker and Ms. Cindy Meredith escorted her to Sherwood Forest Faire

for a special One-Day Visit

and the Multitudes cheered and paid homage to their Naughty Queen

(one knave even kissed her foot!) (no.. he really did!)

 

 

So the Intrepid Hobblers hobnobbed amongst

the Usual Suspects; bawdy jokes and scathing limericks

immobilizing the denizens of the Forest..

 

 

Long Live the Queen

Researching Edible Plants

using these books as a guide...

 

 

The Dollmaker is learning how to identify edible plants

which are ALREADY growing in her own yard.

Turns out, there are quite a few of them.

She is also focused this Spring on planting Perennial Edibles.

 

 

The Peach Trees had a lot of flowers this year... possibly promising  a good harvest in June.

 

 

 

 

Last Saturday the Dollmaker attended

This year she did not paint bowls..

she just enjoyed the Soup and the company of her Friends

at the event..
