2026 - Celebrating with Faith and Passion
Iconic, Fabulous, Interpretive "Flag Fashion"!
The Dollmaker got all caught up in the Vibe
And had gangs of Fun taking pictures
of the People Dressed for the Occasion!
There was big support for the ole
Red, White and Blue!
It wasn't just about the Free Hotdogs!
It was a spontaneous demonstration of Pop-ular Culture!
Grinning and Beaming with Sartorial National Pride
Americans assembled in full Regalia
on the Day of the Stars and the Stripes!
Those Wild and Crazy Americans!!!
And then- all that "American Cosplay" even inspired a few
"Little Patriots" Commemorative Dolls!
Back to the Roots!!
"Profiling" the Denizens of the Dirt..
the "Rooting" from last month continues...
They were called
because they had a Bead for a Head!
And Now! The Classic Swishy BeadHead Style is Back!
of course WITH the popular demanding little smiling Bead for the Head.
The Dollmaker is just waiting for the shipment of the exact right size Beads...
And then... SWISH!
Last year all the Dolls had Hands.
This year the Dolls will all have Better Hands!

Woodworker Mike saves the Day!

Remember Michael Hritz and his wonderful Fairy Houses.. Well, He kindly volunteered to be the guy who makes the Wee Peeple Doll Stands
now that Bev can't do it anymore! Hooray for Mike! "It will be great collaborating with him again," proclaims the Dollmaker!

The Dollmaker joined a Live online Felting Class!
What fun!
The topic was Chanterelle Mushrooms
but the Dollmaker was making 
Doll Hats!
of course!
Summer of Fun!
The Dollmaker has also been attending
Life Drawing Sessions.
It's a good group, she says- very Intuitive!
One day when no model showed up, no problem!
The Ladies just took turns being the model.
Mushroom Madness!
Dare I say- here we go again!!!!

..literally Never-ending

True that, but...
This time the Dollmaker was motivated by
the insinuating Presence of "dormant" Art Supplies.
She Determined to Use Them or Lose Them!
Upon locating and scrutinizing
several almost-full gallon tubs of thin-set cement lurking in the shadows...
along with almost an entire box of
disposable blue gloves...(mandatory!)
She called upon the Muse of Cement.
She then called in the Patron Saint of Mycelium
and the Cement Mushrooms simply materialized in her hands!
