Creating the Owl Shaman Doll

The Owl Head    is made of canvas.      The Heads are shaped    and the faces are sketched in     Black acrylic paint is used to darken around the eyes   and outline feathering areas   Loosely woven fabrics are added   First the black faux fur, closest to the eyes,  and then  tufts of other colors are added    Adding color to the eyes... Orange on top,  yellow on the bottom, blended.   More black, more depth white dot in the center of the pupil   more fur   and continue adding more depth and more fur   add accessories

(this dollmaker never uses feathers due to their rapid rate of deterioration)
